Boring Science?

Clocks - the time period of a pendulum to complete a swing is always the same so with the right length, a pendulum can swing back and forth in exactly a second, which occurs in grandfather clocks. The weight of the pendulum in motion pulls the cogs which in turn move the hands of the clock. It's not boring, btw.
