I want to get from Singapore to HK to Bangok and back?

What are the cheaper ways to get flights to do so? I've checked Singapore Airlines website and the route costs >S$5000! on economy! Maybe it's because SQ planes don't fly from HK to Bangkok. Any cheaper ideas?
