Have you ever been freaked out by a love letter?

There have been a couple times in my high school years (I was a senior last year, haha) that I've been given "love letters" from people I hardly knew or only thought of in a platonic way. It was sort of flattering that they noticed a lot about me that I thought no one did, but it was also creepy and I had a hard time even looking at them again, let alone trying to tell them that they went a step to fast/far.
