How do i get a guy to like me?

so i like this guy... and i want him to ask me out. but im sure he has no idea i like him. he's in 7th grade and im in 8th gr, but i hope thats not a problem. i worry that he will never ask me out bc we only hav 1 cl together, and thats homeroom, and our teacher doesnt even let us talk... so thats a big problem. we used to hav hr together in 1st term (now its 3rd term) and we used to talk a lot then and we were really good friends, i even thought he mightve liked me once (or it seemd like it) but then we didnt hav any cles tgthr the next term so we stoppd talking; and now i like him, how do i get him to like me??? pppllzzz help me! i realllyyyy like him! <3 thx :)
