How do you avoid getting sick when someone comes into work that is sick?

Do you think it would be ok if I wore a mask? Of course I need to go out and buy one since I don't have one. I don't want to get sick b/c usually it hits me hard. Who knows if it's the dreaded swine flu that this person has.
