Is the Twilight series a disgrace to Dracula and the true heart of vampires?

I kinda like twilight, but I absolutely ADORE the original Dracula. I'm a little saddened by how much Meyers pretty much f*cked up how amazing the legend of Dracula and other vampires are, but now I want to know what you think.
