Question on the events surrounding Easter.?

As today is Easter, I've been thinking on the trials suffered the Savior in the Christian Faith: Jesus Christ. As I have read through the few versions of this story in my library, an interesting question popped into my head. If Jesus Christ was reborn into today's world, would we crucify him? Or, I guess more accurately, would we give him the death penalty? Lynch him? inate him? I'm inclined to say that, since he would most likely upset many of the sects of Christianity by disagreeing with them to some extent (which parallels what happened with the various sects of Judaism back in the first coming), we would. What are your thoughts?
