Spiritually Speaking: God doesn't Believe in being Fair?

Ultimately, God Himself bore the penalty of all sin in the person of Jesus Christ on the cross. Was that fair? That the sinless holy, Son of God should die at the hands of sinful me? Certainly not.If God was fair and gave us all exactly what we deserve we would all go to hell forever. but instead, He offers mercy- if you repent and trust in Christ you get mercy, if not- you get fairness.( Hell).
